Pastor Benjamin Galan serves as the Spanish Pastor at Iglesia Bautista de Spring Valley, where he ministers with a shepherd’s heart and a deep commitment to the spiritual growth of the Hispanic community. Born in Los Angeles, he brings a rich blend of cultural understanding, theological training, and pastoral experience to his role.

He holds a Bachelor’s in Pastoral Theology from Ontario Baptist College, a Bachelor’s in Biblical and Theological Studies, and a Master’s in Chaplaincy from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. His academic and ministry preparation reflect his passion for both spiritual formation and public service.

Pastor Galan has contributed to chaplaincy development by supporting chaplains in professional training and has had the honor of offering prayer at the Indiana Statehouse, demonstrating his heart for serving both the church and the broader community.

He specializes in suicide prevention, addiction support, anxiety and grief care, and personal growth, using approaches such as Solution‑Focused Therapy and Emotional Regulation Support. His ministry is marked by compassion, clarity, and a desire to help individuals find hope and healing through Christ.

He is joyfully married to Evelyn Valdivia, his partner in life and ministry. Outside of pastoral work, Pastor Galan enjoys Brazilian Jiu‑Jitsu, embracing its discipline and focus as part of his own personal development.
